I’m from the Rdot8dot0dot4dot
Sick city slicka nigga, that grew up on them river rocks
From the city on the James, flow deep on these instrumentals
Lemme rephraset, wide set, heavy flow, minus the menstrual
And on the real,
I play King of the Hill
And leave bodies at the Crossroads or in the Forest
Without toting steel on either hip, now that’s trill shit
Don’t mind me though I’ve been getting lit and taking sips
Of Legend, cause they say you are what you eat
I like my grizzly bear mid rare, I’m a beast
Wavy as shit, so river water’s all that I drink
I stop and think
Sometimes - and wonder what’s it mean to have this city in your heart
The streets in your veins, so I sit in Jefferson Park
And watch this place beat, and breathe in real smooth
Never obligated to stay - not leaving too soon.
All of my homies from VCU are going home for the summer and my RVA niggas are coming back. Except that’s backwards because my RVA niggas are my VCU homies and I’m confusing myself.

Curiousness Concept - Winographical Map
Created a (rough) map of RVA using wine corks from different wines by process of wondering what consumer base purchased Kleenex and Puffs tissues vs. generic, store brand tissues. The red and more refined wine corks (Seven Daughters, Villa Antinori, Seven Daughters, etc.) representing the more affluent neighborhoods, while the more commonplace wines (Chateau de Ste. Michelle, Moscato) represent the other, typically lower-income neighborhoods.
